Outdoor Ceremony – Rustic Chic – Carlee Farms, NC

Welcome to the Farm!

The trends are changing and we’re keeping you updated as you plan your wedding for this next season! Whether you’re calling it, “rustic chic or rustic elegance,” we have had so much fun styling and picking for this new look!

Brides are bringing in white and gold to accent outdoor spaces and wood textures. Our favorite addition has been the use of greenery throughout the ceremony, reception, and bouquets. Follow our posts in the next few weeks as we share ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception inspiration with these new trends in mind.

Walking through the stone trail leading down to a covered bridge, the trees open up to a ceremony stage we couldn’t take our eyes off of! With styling this area we were able to use the space unlike others would picture it. Rather than use the side decks for a bridal party, we brought in elegant accents with candle light and framed the stairway with pedestals to highlight the bride and groom.

While we love walking down the stone pathway and through the covered bridge… it’s just as fun to ride! As your guests walk back up the stone walkway to the barn, grab your groom for a horse and carriage ride around the pond for amazing views and an even better reception entrance.

Homemade Bride & Kate Pope Photography – Boho Bridal Suite

The Bridal Suite.

KatePopePhoto_Landmark_023

So much time is spent on the ceremony, reception and all that goes into the day, however often brides skip over the space where they spend most of the morning with their closest family and friends.

The Bridal Suite.

While the mimosas are always on point, think about what else to include in the design of the room.  We’ve created a list below of items from our inventory what will impress your girls and shared some ideas to keep them all excited about the day’s events!

Decor Ideas:

  1. Teal Bridal Chair
  2. Frames – Sharing old pictures of you and your girls
  3. Strawberry Baskets – Fruits and Snacks
  4. Cake Stands – Desserts and snacks
  5. Barn Doors – Creating a space to hang your dress
  6. Chairs, Ladder Back Chairs

Game Ideas:

  1. Jenga or other board games while girls wait for hair and makeup
  2. “That’s what she said” – Create cards with quotes the bride says religiously throughout conversation and then mix in others that are random. Each participant must answer whether “that’s what she said” or not.
  3. The Shoe Game – Pair up your bridesmaids for a good laugh!
