McKim Wedding | The Bradford | Homemade Bride

Kaleigh + Austin  |  Tequila, Lime + Sunshine

“Austin and I met in college at a sorority/fraternity mixer event. I was actually in charge of planning the event… but I don’t remember meeting Austin.”

Kaleigh reached out to Homemade Bride back in April with interest in our farm tables. We started talking about the design she wanted for her reception tables and she gravitated to the idea of wanting a “community/family feel” with the farm tables pushed together. We worked to design the layout for her head table and could not be happier with how it turned out!

We’re honored to be sharing this beautiful couple and their wedding day so take a peek at some of our favorites!

“Austin apparently remembers me because he called his mom later that day and told her that he met his future wife.”

We can’t get enough of this story and the colors of their wedding. Kaleigh hired a rockstar team so we wanted to be sure we gave everyone a shout out!

“The secret finally got out that Austin had a huge crush on me and I decided to give him a chance and we went on our first date. I’ve been head over heels for him ever since. We moved to North Carolina when Austin got into graduate school at UNC Greensboro and I followed him here with no job and we knew no one! But NC has become our home and we love it here!”

Kaleigh + Austin, thank you for allowing us to be part of your beautiful wedding. We can’t wait to stay in touch and watch your marriage grow stronger. You are an inspiration for so many brides and we welcome you to NC but also to our HMB family!
