Glenna & Nathan | The Stockroom | Homemade Bride

This is one BAD ASS group and I just want to be in their friend circle!

Glenna and Nathan had the most amazing wedding at the Stockroom on 10/5/19. It was an Art Deco vibe with rich tones and the perfect mix of modern and vintage.

Originally, Glenna called me from Baltimore asking if we work with out-of-state couples and if we could meet during one of her trips back to NC. Obviously we said yes and scheduled to meet at our Cary table to start planning out the design.

When meeting for the first time with any bride, the initial goal is about coming up with a design board and figuring out where to get started. Glenna, well she was a bit ahead. She rolled up with a full 10×17 design board printed and ready to go with colors and inspiration! With half of our job complete, we were able to spend our time planning out two lounge areas, signage and ceremony decor which gave Glenna and Nathan peace of mind before heading back home.

While at the meeting, the only thing we left undetermined was the aisle decor. We all had ideas but nothing felt “right” until we found some inspiration behind these glassless terrariums and made them specifically for the ceremony and floral design. Fallon’s Flowers did an absolute amazing job with the arrangements and they turned out to be the perfect accent in the space! Even better? Now you get to love them too as they are now available to rent.

Now, on top of being super organized, super sweet and having great taste, Glenna also has the sweetest mom we’ve ever worked with. She came to every meeting we had and was on every email chain helping with decisions that needed made and taking stress off of Glenna by assisting in some of the smaller details and questions.

“Just the best! These ladies are the sweetest, smartest, hardest working women in the industry…”

We don’t always get to meet the bride’s mom, but when we do, it truly is a treat!

Are you jealous about not being a guest of this wedding yet? …yeah same.

  1. What an awesome write up about Glenna and Nathan’s wedding, with beautiful notes regarding the two most loved and important women in my life: my wonderful niece, Glenna, and my dear sister, Beth. Your perception and description was right-on about the way they work so well as an organized creative mom-daughter team. Every detail was the reflection of their vision and plans, thanks to your team, as well as all of the other professionals involved in creating an incredible wedding weekend. Your work with them was praised very highly, so thank you for everything you did to make this all go so perfectly and smoothly for them. This was indeed the greatest wedding I have ever been to. Surely every member of the family and circle of friends of and G & N enjoyed and appreciated this time celebrating the love and joining of two great people, thanks to the team behind the scenes!
